In November 2025, while we are fully enjoying the release of Secrets of Power, we look ahead to what is coming in the Star Wars: Unlimited universe. After the political maneuvering and intrigue of the previous set, the game now enters a darker, wilder chapter.
A Lawless Time is the next major expansion for Star Wars: Unlimited — a period in which laws hold little meaning and crime is the norm. This set focuses on the underworld of the Star Wars galaxy: smugglers, bounty hunters, ruthless villains, brilliant criminals, and anyone willing to break the law for profit or power.

Theme & Concept
In contrast to Secrets of Power — a set about insiders, agents, and spies — A Lawless Time revolves around chaos and organized crime. Here, credits, cunning plans, and brutal heists take center stage. In this part of the galaxy, there are no rules that cannot be broken.
The set introduces a few key changes that will significantly impact gameplay and deck building:
Credit tokens — a brand new type of token that you can "defeat" to pay for card costs or activate special effects.
Multi-aspect cards — for the first time, Star Wars: Unlimited features cards with two primary aspects (instead of one plus Heroism/Hostility). These cards are more powerful but require smart deck building.
Spotlight Deck Leaders
As usual, this set begins with two Spotlight Decks, each featuring a unique leader and several special cards:

Jabba the Hutt
Jabba is both a Cunning and Villainy leader and fully reflects the underworld theme. His playstyle revolves around generating and spending credits to gain quick advantages.
With his card-specific abilities, you can:
Generate credits by returning certain units to your hand.
Grant ambush skills to Underworld units by spending credits.
Play larger, darker cards faster by cleverly managing credits.
Leia Organa
Leia offers a very different gameplay experience. She is a Command and Heroism leader that encourages decks combining multiple aspects. This versatility allows for more flexible responses and creative play.
In her deck, you will see examples such as:
Han Solo – a unit that becomes stronger as he performs more attacks.
R2-D2 – a support unit that retrieves cards from your deck that match existing aspects.
Zeb Orellios – a unit with three aspects that grows immensely under the right conditions.
New Mechanics & Strategies
The introduction of Credits and multi-aspect cards ensures that A Lawless Time can truly change the meta:
🔹 Credit Tokens provide players with more flexibility in resources and surprising tactical options.
🔹 Multi-aspect cards reward creative deck building and can lead to new synergies.
These changes promise many new strategies and a more dynamic gameplay — exactly what players have requested for the third game year of Star Wars: Unlimited.
Release
A Lawless Time is scheduled for release in March 2026, along with more previews, spoilers, and gameplay insights leading up to that date.
